WHO I AM
FAITH
I am Michael O. Harris—though many people know me as Beau. I am a Southern gentleman shaped by faith, family, service, and a lasting belief that people and institutions should leave their communities stronger than they found them. By instinct, I am a builder. I notice where responsibility is unclear, where people are talking past one another, and where a worthwhile idea lacks the structure it needs to survive. My work often begins there—with careful listening, complete honesty, and a commitment to finding a practical path forward. My life has carried me through public service, financial services, nonprofit leadership, community development, civic institutions, and media. Each experience has reinforced the same lesson: strategy matters only when it can be translated into responsible action.

BEYOND THE WORK
Beyond his professional life, Beau is known for his quick, dry wit, good-natured competitive streak, and ability to remain down-to-earth in even the most formal settings. He is the father of three daughters, a Navy veteran, and the proud dog dad of Leo. He enjoys cooking and hosting, traveling in search of new experiences, and exploring the history and culture of the places he visits. His ideal quiet day is considerably simpler: a cool, dark house, a comfortable blanket, Leo beside him, and several uninterrupted hours of documentaries.
